Your thoughts feel hard to manage, your mood is affecting how you show up day to day, or you've been running on empty for a while, therapy could help. You don't need to be in a crisis to start.
Therapy is there to support you and prevent you from reaching breaking point.
A lot of people come to Self Work Studios simply because they're tired of overthinking and feeling stuck.
-
Overthinking is when your mind gets caught in loops. Replaying conversations, second guessing decisions, worrying about things you can't control. In therapy we work out what's driving it and build practical strategies to interrupt the pattern and trust yourself more.
-
Burnout isn't just feeling tired. It's the kind of exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix.
Signs include struggling to switch off, feeling detached or empty, losing motivation for things you used to care about, constant irritability and a sense that no matter how much you do it's never enough.
If you've been pushing through for a long time and your body and mind are starting to protest, that's worth paying attention to.
-
The feeling that your success is luck rather than ability, and that at some point people will figure that out. It shows up as self-doubt, people pleasing and an inner critic that never quiets down. It's more common than you think and it can change.

CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. It's the most researched form of therapy available and is recommended by NICE as a first line treatment for anxiety, depression and many other common mental health difficulties.
It works by helping you spot the connections between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, then gradually shifting the patterns keeping you stuck.
-
Coaching helps you move forward. Therapy explores why you're stuck in the first place. If you know what you should do but can't seem to do it, that's usually a therapy question. Therapy bridges the gap to make long-term changes.

Sessions are 50 minutes. Weekly is recommended, especially at the start. It builds momentum and helps you get the most out of the work. That said, everyone has different lifestyles, responsibilities and budgets, so we'll find a rhythm that works for you. Weekend appointments are available on request.

According to the Polyvagal Theory, a supported group space helps your nervous system settle and makes self work easier.
This space is for anyone investing in their mental wellbeing and personal development, whether therapy is on your radar or not.
I host both workshops solely organised by Self Work Studios and in collaboration with others. Fill out a contact form if you are interested in hosting an event together
